Automechanika Dubai, the Middle East's largest international trade fair for the automotive aftermarket sector, continues its activities for the second day at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event displays the innovations of the most prominent brands from around the world, which revealed a group of completely new products and services in the market, to attract the attention of tens of thousands of suppliers, customers and stakeholders in all aspects of the sector. The Innovation Zone sheds light on current and future technologies that will advance the sector Manufacturers and commercial companies have a special platform this year at Automechanika Dubai, to present an outstanding range of cutting-edge concepts, technologies and digital solutions, such as autonomous vehicles, electric vehicle charging stations and spare parts. These innovations support the continuous transformation of the sector, as well as the expected role of current and future technologies in advancing the automotive sector. This year, the Innovation Zone witnesses the unique participation of Sensys, a leading digital products and solutions company headquartered in the UAE, to present its latest set of innovations that include a virtual reality showroom. Kevin Davidson, Managing Director of Sensys, said: “We are delighted to be back at the show after two years, as we feel this is the best time for the industry. This year we are introducing a lot of new innovations, such as robots that can help dealers explain vehicle specifications. In the event that a seller is not available, we have also developed a virtual showroom that allows you to actually walk into a showroom and sell cars virtually, using a headset to test a rich and lively experience and fully see the car that the customer wants to buy. On the other hand, Goodyear Automotive Lubricants, which is participating in the exhibition for the first time, is highlighting its latest range of lubricants, which includes semi-synthetic lubricants and multigrade heavy duty diesel oils. In this regard, Sunil Khanchandani, General Manager of the company stated: “We entered the lubricant oils market in 2020, which put us in front of difficult challenges due to the global health crisis for two years, but the last few months have been very fruitful for us. This year we intend to expand our portfolio of distributors in the region, by participating in Automechanika Dubai.
